At Fleece2Fibre, Heather and I met through our passion for high quality woollen products and fibres and we are both animal lovers alike. We are both knitters, spinners and weavers. Our passion soon turned into an obsession as so many people wanted to buy our products. Our business grew from our own flock of sheep and alpacas which we process ourselves because most mills only accept large quantities of fibre for processing. We are different in that we only have a 1kg minimum requirement. Our flock at the moment consist of 3 Huacaya alpacas and 1 Suri. Our sheep are very carefully sheared each year by a highly qualified shearer taking the best care of our animals. We have invested in equipment and are able to offer our fibre processing to others so that they can enjoy high quality products.
